This study aims at investigating the impact of utilizing self-regulated learning in teaching the Holy Quran to develop digital citizenship concepts and ethical values among female students of first secondary class. The sample of the study consists of 52 female students, selected randomly and divided into experimental and control groups. A test for digital citizenship concepts was formed including 20 items. Then the validity and reliability of the test were ensured. Similarly, an ethical values scale finally was formed including 21 items. The results revealed statistically significant differences with (α = 0.05) between the mean scores of the pre-test and post-test of the experimental group in both the digital citizenship concepts test and the ethical values scale in favour of the post-test. Moreover, the study revealed statistically significant differences with (α = 0.05) between mean scores of the post-test of the experimental and control groups in favour of the experimental group. Accordingly, several recommendations have been proposed, including the necessity of utilizing the self-regulated learning in teaching the Holy Quran for the female students of the secondary school. This study, also, recommended training teachers and female students to utilize self-regulated learning strategies. Conducting further studies on these variables across different educational stages have been recommended.
