Abstract

     The purpose of the current study is to know the reality of quality of the health services as a whole and its fields ,dimensions: reliability ,responsiveness ,security ,tangibility and sympathy in  health sector in Taiz city  (field study on samples of public hospitals ), To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was used, and the questionnaire tool was used to collect data. It was submitted distributed to a sample consisting of  (201) people,  (136) the officers of Al-jomhouri hospital in Taiz city, and  (65) the officers of Swedish Hospital. The total number of males is (98), and the total number of females is (103). The sample have been selected using stratified random sampling method in accordance with job category.

Data have been analyzed using arithmetical means and standard deviations, followed by t-test of two independent sampler and one-way ANOVA.

After Conducting the analysis, the research attained the following finding:

  • The quality of health care servicer war high in general. It war also high with respect to every dimension of health care servicer (i.e. reliability, responsiveness, assurance, tangibility, and empathy) In the target hospitals.
  • The dimensions of health Care quality are ordered from high to low are follows: responsiveness assurance sympathy, tangibility, and reliability).
